10 Years in the Southland
The Southland Friends of Labor organization is concerned with the issues and challenges facing thousands of working men and women in the southland region. Our mission is to educate and inform our local and state elected officials about the needs of the working men and women in the southland area. Part of our purpose is to work with businesses, local Chambers of Commerce and other groups on issues common to our region’s success. We believe that organized workers are good for families, businesses and the entire Southern Cook, Will and Kankakee County areas. Organized working men and women can be good partners with businesses and commercial leaders in the fight to build our region’s political influence.
We are looking forward to meeting and partnering with all who are concerned about the future of the Southland and the men and women who do its work.
Join us at our next monthly meeting!
We normally meet the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
